Honoring Mom

My mom was diagnosed with metastatic ovarian cancer on Nov 9, 2022. This was clearly devastating to the family. My mom always did the right things. She walked 5-10 miles a day. Never smoked or drank, unlike the rest of her family (haha).

With preparing for the unknown my mom decided to split up her jewelry. During this process we discovered that she has a surplus of costume jewelry. At this point I decided that I was going to create a charcuterie board for her immediate family members.

My parents have always believed in vacations and every year they always took their family to all kinds of beautiful vacation spots. They have taken us on Alaskan cruises, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Europe and many other places.

I will be using my mom's costume jewelry and customizing a memory that her daughters and grandkids remember the most.

These charcuterie boards are the most important boards that I have ever made for my family.
